Back in 1993, Jeff Hinkley, the creator of Thunderbird Chimes, wanted to offer a better wind chime to the public. His plan was threefold; they were to have beautiful tones; they would be very attractive; and they would be very durable. Once these objectives were accomplished, refinements and minor improvements were made to the wind chimes in the following years, resulting in the beautiful creations you see in the catalog pages on this website.
